Optimize Your Page

Your score and simulation tell you what's wrong. These three tools turn that into action — AI-written copy, ready-to-paste structured data, and untested queries you can check on demand. All of them live in the toolbar at the top of a project.

Optimize Page

Optimize Page takes your weakest GEO dimensions and rewrites them into copy-paste-ready content: a stronger title and meta description, improved content sections, and an FAQ block generated from your real queries. Click it in the toolbar; while it runs, a spinner shows on the button and the rest of the page stays usable.

When it's done, the Rewriter card fills with each block and a Copy button. Paste them into your page, publish, then Re-score to confirm the improvement. The result is cached, so re-opening the project won't charge you again — only running a fresh optimize does.

Generate Schema

Generate Schema produces JSON-LD structured data that helps AI engines parse your page reliably. Citera builds up to four blocks — FAQ, Article, Organization and HowTo — using your content, and only includes a block when it has the fields that schema type requires (invalid blocks are dropped rather than faked).

Copy each block and paste it into your page's <head>. Like the rewrite, the output is cached so reopening the project is free.

Opportunity Finder

During query generation Citera produces many more questions than the 15 it simulates. The extras are kept as an opportunity pool. The Opportunity Finder surfaces two kinds:

  • Measured gaps — queries you already simulated where no engine mentioned you. Proven blind spots, shown for information.
  • Untested opportunities — queries from the pool that haven't been asked yet. Each has a one-click Test button that runs that single query across all five engines.

Testing an opportunity costs a small amount of credits (shown on the button). If you turn out to be visible, it leaves the list; if not, it moves to your measured gaps so you know exactly what to work on next.

The recommended workflow

1

Score, then simulate

Start with a GEO score, then run an AI simulation to see where you're invisible and who's winning instead.

2

Optimize & add schema

Run Optimize Page for copy-paste content, then Generate Schema for structured data. Apply both to your live page.

3

Re-score & re-simulate

Re-score to confirm the gain, then re-simulate to verify the engines now mention you. Track progress in your score history.

4

Chase opportunities

Use the Opportunity Finder to test promising untested queries and expand the questions you show up for.

Every action shows its credit cost in the button tooltip before you click, and results are cached so you're never charged twice for the same output. See Credits & Plans.
